For GTD Aston Martin Vantage is entered. Are you meaning to include prototypes also? ORECA, Nisan, Ligier and Riley are there. No Viper entered.

Viper no longer eligible in IMSA without FCA paying the required fee to be an official partner. I'll still be cheering on Ben Keating and the Riley Motorsports crew even though they have to run AMG. Great people on that program.

I understand what you are saying and yes Ben and the Riley guys are great people but for me it has always been about the car.

It was rumored that there would be an entry or two into the Pirelli World Challenge series but as the season draws closer there still hasn't been a confirmation of any team running a Viper. There are 2-3 Gen IV ACR-Xs still running in Trans Am.

I'm so bummed with the lack of news for 2017. McCann did post a photo on facebook mid-Jan of what seems to be a Viper being prepped.

Bummer was hoping to have a viper in the mix.. seems like everybody whos anybody is racing. Lexus for pete sake ?

That isn't McCann's GT3-R for gt3 races. I don't know the status of their chassis after it was involved in a couple wrecks at the end of last year.
