Is there a CEL if disconnect the GTS adjustable shocks

Say I want to drop in the ACR 3-way adjust shocks. If the connector for the GTS shocks is left unplugged, will it throw a CEL-type of dash light? Can I just close the circuit by making a simple jumper if I find a few connectors to plug back into the harness?

I don't think it throws a cell, simply unplug it and see

Disconnecting the shocks does not light the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light or Check Engine Light as it is also called). It does however set a code that the dealer can read when they plug in their Witech to the vehicle. When they plug in and read vehicle codes it will show a damper code for all four corners. These codes do not turn on the light on the dash.

If you disconnect the electrical connector/connectors at the shocks, the only thing you will notice is that the instrument cluster will always say "race". Instead of the street/race illumination when you press the button in your center stack. It will leave a dtc in your module, but no check engine light.
