Exclamation Photo Shoot Forgeline GTD1 wheels on Viper TA

I went out this morning and took some photos of my wife's Viper TA, which we equipped with new wheels/tires this week. We stepped out of our normal color boundaries and tried something that would attract more eyes, since this vehicle serves as a rolling advertisement for our wheel business. I'll leave it up to you to determine if we accomplished that, or not.

2014 Dodge Viper TA (1 of 33 white)
    Forgeline GTD1 monoblock (Competition Series)
Brushed w/ Tinted Transparent Gold finish
    19x11.0 front w/ 295/30-19 Toyo R888 tire
    19x13.0 rear w/ 345/30-19 Toyo R888 tire
    Pricing & Info: http://www.dv8motoring.com/wheels/forgeline/

    Enjoy the pics!

Up close pics really show the machining detail of the sides of the spokes. Looks good against the white. You could go straight outlandish like the porsche guys do with red or green or pink wheels.

The white TA is an insanely beautiful Viper, and those wheels really add to the elegant and understated look. Great wheel choice!

You do realize Nineball that you and Flatout are household names on the Corvette forums, lol? When I had my 15 Z06 they hated on both of you, that means your both my heros! Great car. It's all over Instagram right now.

I'm normally not a gold fan, but those are beautiful wheels, especially the machining detail. Really a great combo without looking outlandish. Very nice!

Funny, considering Andy and I were both two of the earliest LS1 fbody owners in this country. We both used to hang out on LS1.com, then I created LS1Tech.com and we also hung out on Corvetteforum while we owned Corvettes. It wasn't until we both bought Vipers and started telling people the truth about the differences between the cars, then some of the newer guys there started complaining. I still have more GM vehicles at home, even two with LSX power right now.

I'd consider bright orange if these were purely for tracking, or I was going for a track theme. Our VOA friend Roy went with the same wheel, we did his in bright red.

On those wheels I like the anodized/tinted better than painted as it shows the machining off better.

Gorgeous! I dont really like gold wheels on many colors, but White is definitely one of them! Nice job!

The first pic really shows the lines with the sun hitting on it. Really sharp. That should be a good rolling billboard ad.

White looks so striking on these cars.

Id say white and stryker green Vipers really look like actual snakes from the front.

Nice! Does your traction control care about those front tires being larger?

As much as there are positive reviews.....I just am not a fan of gold wheels and they seem out of place with the silver gas cap and orange calipers....sorry

Not at all. Did the same size tires on a previous set as well. Rear tire is still an inch taller, 27 vs 26. Several customers on similar tire sizes.

I would blame the ugly gas cap, it does not match anything on these cars. Haha

I like it, but I think it can be improved just slightly. IMO, the brass monkey wheels got the color perfect. The brass monkey color creates a more subtle look that I think is more appropriate for this caliber of car. Flame suit is on.

Tony are you still able to order the Forgestar F14's in stock sizes?

    MHO,

Pic #1: Awesome. Plain bad ass lookin - capturing the width & meat of the rear wheels is a Viper photo requirement. Makes almost anything else work.
Viper Photo Requirement #1 (VPR-1): Always capture the width & meat of the rear wheels in the frame.

Rest of pics...kinda not so much.
1st impression is it's too mixed up and doesn't flow. Now it needs more gold to make it work..draw/sweep my eye across the car.
That's what it is. My eyes starts to move across the car and they get stuck on the gold glare of the wheels against the white back drop.
Like in that other pic of the GTS with the red side mirrors. Gold side mirrors might help. N' a gold gas cap.
    That might make it work.

Then again, I know absolutely nothing.

Probably right Nineball...but you have orange calipers, white viper, gold wheels, and silver trim....just a little too much going on......for me...but what do I know?
