Help with wheel tire setups 19 quot vs 18 19 SW2 setup

In looking at two wheel setups, looking for input on pros and cons.

19/19, could run Kumhos, which is great super perf. But appears limited on with any other tire combo for street capable tires. Wheel would be aftermarket so get a cool factor.

18/19 sidewinders, have the corsa-r which is a great tire, and some other combos, but of course not at a kumho level. Wheel is factory but IMO they are a sweet wheel.

If you could chose which would it be?

if at all possible ide push for the 19 19 combo, just as far as aesthetics though, just look at that acr/kuhmo front tire wheel combo and how it fills the well, but not sure how this will affect abs etc, but if im correct i think the only reason for the 19 front on the acr is to fit the ccm brakes?

IMO the best setup would be 19/19 sidewinders. The fronts would be 19x13 modified/reduced to 19x10.5.

I don't believe the 18 SWIIs will fit CCB brakes if your car has them. If it has steel brakes then sure. The steel brakes on an ACR are the same as the TA. If your car is not an ACR then the SWIIs are a great choice, good looking wheel. I like the HyperBlack better than the flat black. The flat black are a pain in the butt to clean. i have both. If you have an ACR with steel brakes you have to periodically check the SWIIs for cracks due to the down force of an ACR. The SWIIs are not rated for that stress.

You can run Toyo R888 19/19 tires. They are certainly streetable and actually work very well in the rain (suprisingly). 295/30-19 front and 345/30-19 rear.

What year/model? Are you going to track it? Or just street driving?

It's not an ACR, a TA. An ACR I'd leave as is.

80-90% street. Most of my track time is kept to racing, only 2-4 trackdays a year for a few fun events.

I guess I'm deciding if the 19/19 setup will be too limiting on tire selection, although the kumhos would be nice to run while they're made/available.

If you want to run the khumo's just grab some forgestars. They are reasonably light and very cost effective.

Which ones? I have the F14 on my Focus ST and I like them (9lbs lighter than the porky stock wheels) but they don't make them in 13" wide (for 19" diameter)

F14. They have made the 19x13's for about a year, or more. I have a loose set of them in my garage with the v720 acr tires on them now! Nine Ball (Tony) has a couple sets in inventory now as well listed on the wheel and tire subsection.
