    Hopefully you can find someone at FCA or Dodge to assist you. In my case I had to do all the leg work and get prefix to contact FCA for me as Dodge was giving me nothing but problems. If not, for your sake I hope big problems don't have small beginnings.

    If FCA refuses to address your side skirts let me know and I'll get you in contact with Prefix. Their customer service is above and beyond FCA.

    Well spoke to SRT and since the service manager told her that it appeared that after market parts had been put on the car that they will not warrant any of the itmes needed. I also pushed SRT customer care on the question of how some mythical parts could void my warranty work and also if I had motor failure would these same mythical parts that are not present void the replacment of said warranty as well, to which she said yes.

    So question is where do I go from here? I bought a car with a warranty for a reason and it seems pretty far fetched that the fack "rockers were removed, or wire was melted" that makes it ok to claim it must have come from aftermarket parts and not the factory etc?

    Does anyone have a contact or good in for the FCA manager for the southwest region? Dealer said they can have him come inspect the car but I thnk it is a waste of time. Rockers melt and turn yellow we all know this but since they seemed removed that wont be covered, engine gets hot and evap hose melted but not covered, recall work done and didnt get valve cover put on right, not covered and at this rate if my motor blows im SOL on that to?

    FCA/SRT has to have the worst customer service and follow up I have seen. Any help is much needed guys.

    You have no other dealer close to you? I believe this one dealer just doesn't want to deal with the issues. What they are doing is wrong, and illegal. I would contact Flatout (Andy Wheeler) or Mark J on here, maybe they have a contact who can help you out. Worse come to worse, perhaps ship the car to them, and see if the can get FCA to cover shipping costs as well, since the original dealer refused the work.

    Seemed pretty illegal to me as well. How is a car sold and shows a warranty and now they wont cover anything wrong now, all small issues based on parts that service manager "claims" had to be there but are no longer there?!

    I will reach out to Mark and ANdy as well. No dealers in this state other than these guys.

    If you haven't done so yet (just skimmed through this thread), please post the name of the dealership so others can be warned.

    This is total bullshit,......amazing to see so much difference between dealerships that are all under the same company umbrella.

    Hate to say I told you so but.....

    The only advice I can give you is to try another dealership. My GEN V had 130 miles on it when I took it in to the dealership per FCAs request for them to take digital images of the paint which had blistered and bubbled on the hinge covers and hood, the dealership claimed the car had been repainted and that it wasn't factory paint just to get out of handling the warranty.

    I hope you don't end up having a failed engine or transmission where you are stuck paying out of pocket. I wouldn't be surprised if that dealership you took it to added notes on file that your Viper has been modified.

    FCA... what a joke.

    On a positive note Palmer VP Jody has been on top of this since last week with me and thinks it is BS as well. He also did confirm warranty is in plavce and what they are doing is wrong and they are just tryiing to make it a "customer pay" set up. He was talking to someone above the gal at SRT that did nothing for me. He is also going to cover the fees for the warranty items it needs as he doesnt want me without my car while these warranty issues are handled. He also said to never go there again and find another dealer which was a given but hard to send a car out of state for a $500 warranty repair and pay 1500-2k in shipping.

    So far looking good and big thanks to Jody and everyone on here helping me out.

    I am still floored by the dealer and how worthless SRT was for their customer. I have always seen dealers jump for owners of their halo cars. Guess there is no Viper love!

    Mythical mods crack me up! I am one to mod and have done so in the past. I didnt on this car as it is winter here and I dont drive it. It if had headers I would not waste my time or money to remove the rockers, headers, mufflers just to have a 1hr job and $30 purge hose replaced!

    Im even tempted to do the underbelly bolt and valve cover gasket, purge hose myself vs the $110hr rate they want to do these things.

    If Jody ran all his guys like him he would do tons of business. He doesnt say much but he delivers once he knows about it but I am sure there is too much going on for him to know about.
