Was that Darius? Looked like his car, the guy is a madman on the track.

Excellent use of the word audacious.

That's Darius, I was going to post up the vid but never got a chance to.

BTW, anything under 1:50 on that track is fast. His record in a stock ACR is 1:40.xx, which is nuts.
My brother does 1:47s in an 125 ICC shifter kart.

Darius has a vid there in a BMW S1000RR bike where he is passing the entire field!

In that configuration yes, anything below 1:50 is quick. Unfortunately, a lot of times track days are done with the chicane by T9, which kill the whole back end of the track.
Then again, if you mess up T10 and end up in the wall, you'll be glad that you had to deal with the chicane because otherwise, you get to t10 at a buck 20 or more and the wall is just too close.

Sears Point is my favorite track and I wish I could be as quick as Darius there but I think the best I could ever get was 1:53 or so (without the chicane) on my ZX400R during my AFM days.
    Gotta love the carousel.

My god that has to be the best pass ever!

And after that he just runs away...GT3 must have backed off a bit...probably scared the crap outta him.

Darius is my hero! I hope he comes to Viper Tracks!

Thanks everyone. I've never seen them run the chicane for car day's only bikes. On the bike configuration which includes another chicane at turn 1 before you go back up the hill I ran a 1.42 on my s1000rr and a 1.40.03 in the ACR. In this video you can see the bike configuration. It also cuts out a good section of turn 11. They do that for safety.
