The guy is giving me a a really good price plus I have a '95 viper and a '16 conv Z06 so my funds and my garage space is limited..I have talked to Bill a couple times and he's a really nice guy but I just can't spend that much. I had a guy from Michigan offer me a '16 gts at $12k under msrp and he would ship it to me for free, I told him if he could get it down $7k more I would be interested. If I was just buying the viper and didn't have any other cars I could buy what I want but I'm attached to the '95(original owner) and I really like the Z06 so for me to get a third car the price has to be right.

Ha! I wish I could afford both but what is your experience on the Gen-5 Viper vs. the Z06. I don't want to hijack your thread so you can just PM me the response, thanks.

Understood. Nice stable you have already, then, and are just adding to it.

I noticed the Vipers from the known Viper dealers are a bit more money. Some of them are used and they are charging new prices.
I would go your route too. GJ.

I can tell you the Z06 is a great car, fast as hell, seats are very comfortable.... I test drove a '15 gt and to be honest the Z06 was nicer and faster but I like the viper. Couldn't care less about Dodge or Chrysler just like the viper.
I hardly drive my '95 viper, its not really that enjoyable but I love the way it looks mainly from the rear and sides but not the front. I will post a couple pictures of each if I can figure out how to do it.

I have the '95 up for sale but don't know for sure if I will sell it. I traded the '95 in for the Z06 but when I went home I felt sick about it so I went back and made them rewrite the deal and took my buddy back home....lol

Ha! I was just going to say your house looks very similar to the houses in my neighborhood but I'm over in Chandler. Nice cars BTW.

Thanks, I'm by Usery Pass if you know where that is, by the mountain that has Phoenix written on it.

Yes, I used to shoot Tuesday Night Steel over at Rio Salado but I haven't been since I last moved.

The real question is for those buying out of state:
is it worth putting extra miles driving back (saving a couple grand) or just getting it shipped with 1-2-3k miles less but spending more?
For me it's a tough decision!

I've done both. To me it depends on the drive route, whether I'm interested in it, and whether I have time or not. The miles aren't a consideration for me on any car, I buy em to drive em.
