There would be a lot of happy owners if that was a typical sale price !

Kind of misleading. While there were 28 made, the reality of the case is that many of them have been crashed and very few are left. A couple left in Texas. There was that one in Canada. One in NY. At one time, I tracked it. It has been so long since one has come up, tracking them did not even make sense any more.

A few notes on this one.

    The wheels are rechromed.
The car has the original safety belts.
Paint looks fair...not really great, but the car only looks good from certain angles and light.
Engine looks kind of dirty. Not that much of a garage queen.
    Brakes look good.

Should be an interesting car for someone.

Are ACR's that retain their original harnesses more desirable than those that were replaced under the recall?

I have seen a ton of cars where people remove all the belts. Can't respond to your inquiry as I don't know the before and after costs.

I believe that someday that will be the case. The original belts in my car were so much higher quality in every respect. I've been told they are made by the same parent company, but I can tell you the recall one's look like low quality pieces. I have both sets.

Thanks for the opinions. My ACR still has the originals, too.

Blake have you ever found out how many Red/Silver Stripe ACRs like ours are still left? I really haven't seen too many and curious on what the count is.

Curious about the collector plates. I tried looking into them for my 02.

That one has been for sale for a while. I'm not sure what they were smoking when they came up with that asking price, but they are in BC.....

HAHA ya this one was up when I was shopping for my Viper 3 years ago. It hasn't changed and they haven't moved on the price either.

I believe the former owner of this car is a member on the forum.
