Replacement Factory side sills for B W gts

Any idea where I can get replacement factory side sills? And how much they would cost?

Their was a mint set in this forum a couple of weeks ago in your color. I believe it was someone trying to sell them without putting up an ad. It likely was removed by the mods. Who knows maybe it was a scam but the heat shields had virtually no discoloration!

Interesting, do you know what thread it was in? Maybe they'll get at me. The previous owner had a Borla exhaust installed within a week of purchasing the car back in 96, and for whatever reason, they drilled 2 ugly holes under where the hood drops down on each side. Can only see them when the hood is up, but i know they're there and they bug me... would prefer unmolested ones vs repaired ones if possible

I would think yours could be fixed/repaired back to original?

I don't but I scrolled through quite a few pages looking for it, and couldn't find it. Dave's suggestion is on target, but your wallet should be prepared.......

    Probably cheaper than another set.

There is an old saying in marketing "if you can't fix it, feature it." How big are these holes? Perhaps you can get a fastener with a flat top, like a push pin. The kind that usually holds on hood pads and things like that. Then you would just see 2 flatblack buttons. Or put a body clip underneath and screw a hex bolt there? Then it will look like some kind of purpose built quirk (which our cars are full of) and only you will know why.

    Much cheaper than replacing them.

    Either way, good luck.

That looks like the same picture I remember, except it's only one. If that's legit, that really is a great deal, if it was Steel Grey I would have already bought it!

I apologize if this seems dumb but I know you are new to your car so I just want to make sure that what you see is not stock. Their is supposed to be 2 holes on the top side of the skirts in that area where the hood covers. Are you saying they drilled two additional holes in that area?

Here is a pic I pulled from the interwebs showing the factory bolts. Before you go and spend a bunch of money I wanted to double check this.
