    Dream Car Achieved

So I thought I'd share this as well. The pic I'm holding in the bottom of this picture is a Viper GTS I cut out of a magazine and taped to my parents garage wall. I did this so my dad would see this every day when he walked in from work and hopefully buy it lol. I did this in 1996 when the GTS first made its appearance. So it's been a sickness for a long time lol. This thing was hanging there for 20 years!!

Nice story. I saw the concept Viper in 1989 and decided I would have it some day. I also had lots of pictures on the wall, but in 1989 I happened to be 45 years old. Fast forward to 2007 and I finally got a 1999 RT-10 and it was really exciting. I was a grown person and just wanted to sit in the car and soak it in. That may not be the norm, but if you have a passion for something you need to act on it. A year ago today I was driving back to Washington State in my current Viper , a 2014 GTS coupe. Even at my age I was like a kid and got excited about the trip and the newer car. I hope I never lose the excitement and passion for things and you are just starting to really get a chance to realize your dream. Enjoy the Viper and drive it every chance you get.

Very cool story as well!! I know the feeling very well, first time I ever sat in a Viper was a red 1996 RT10, we were on a family vacation, my sisters wanted to swim with the Dolphins, which they did. My Dad asked me what I wanted to do, I said "Rent that Viper for the day". So we did. $150.00 for a 6hr rental. We cruised the whole island with the top down/off. Still one of the best days of my life.

Thank you for sharing for your story. It's amazing to see the love and appreciation for Vipers transcend all ages. Something so special about these cars!
