Looks like he could have been making a sandwich and reading a magazine and done just as well

If that Turbo S had full bolt ons and upgraded turbos, then that guy couldn't drive for Sh!$$!

    Nice run by the way.

    Thanks!

The owner of the Porsche and I have been friends for 20+ years so I know all his mods. Doesn't take much to race a Porsche in a straight line though.

BTW he is a very good drag racer (had a 7sec mustang), road racer (instructor at Chin Motorsports) and motorcycle rider (held a world record with his Hayabusa).

He's certainly qualified, but a 10 year old could have done just as well..Actually better due to weight reduction! lol

Anyone can stab the throttle to the floor and steer.

It always erked me how auto guys brag about time slips at the drags. The computer is doing all of the work! Stick a launch and complete 3 fast, at redline shifts and THEN I'll be impressed! Off rant!

The Porsche PDK is not an automatic. It's an electronically controlled, dual wet clutch piece of pure engineering genius. And it's freaking amazing to drive. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my manual ACRE, but a PDK Porsche is an awesome car to drive (especial the GT variants with the PDK-S).

^ I would have to agree. My brother's 991 GT3 is a riot with the PDK. That gearbox performs absolutely brutal shifts.

Upgraded turbos ? Bigger size turbo or just turbo wheel is changed ?

I saw ESmotor porsches 991 doing great numbers not sure about this one.

Ur viper is moving even with this huge wing !!!

    We need more races
    Thanks for sharing

I always laugh at posts like this. I'm what I would consider an accomplished drag racer. mid 8's/mid 5's in the 1/4 with a stick, as well as mid 7's/mid4's with an auto. I can tell you from a LOT of experience, its not anywhere near as easy as the slow guys claim....

I'm not talking abut a 7 second ride.

Paul, is your rear wing in position 1, or did you leave it in 2?
