Will a gen 2 cat back exhaust from a gts work on a gen 2 rt/10?

when you look up part #s for certain exhausts....availability is there for gts, but website says not available for rt/10.....point is I have a magnaflow cat back from my old set up on 2001 gts, guy with 1996 rt/10 wants to buy, but can't find where part #s are same for both cars...

I would think it would fit. The '96 RT/10 has the rear exit exhaust too. Same routing as the GTS. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the '96 RT/10 is Gen1.5
