How's the new leg holding up? I've gotta say - you're a huge inspiration to me. I've had my health issues over the past year, and it sucked, so I really admire your positive attitude and ability to get past the negative. That, and the new leg is super cool looking.

They have been using carbon fiber for a while. Many people cover it up with a fake leg looking thing (which looks hideous in my opinion) or you can also have a design laid right into the carbon fiber. So I considered having a viper logo laid into it or perhaps some Celtic Knotwork. Ultimately I went with the baked cabin fiber on both my legs cause I liked it. I am proud of my leg so I make the compnents easy to see. The new one is 6k so it s lighter and stronger than he previous one.

I started studying martial arts as a way to continue my physical therapy. We do adapt some movements sometimes because I don't have an ankle and other times to take advantage of the fact that I have a weapon connected to me. The front feels like an ASP baton. And it feels no pain. So it can be a seriously formidable weapon if I want it to be. A kick into the knee will cause serious damage or a downward kick in the foot will break a human foot. Also I can kick through the shin as well. And as I said, I don't have to worry about pain on my end.
