Thread: ABS issue

    ABS issue

Was driving and it rained, the dashboard ABS and traction lights are on and it says antilock system needs to be serviced by the dealer. Any quick solution for this as the car is about to be shipped overseas in two days :|

Is clearing the errors enough for a reset?

Nevermind it cleared. I run the diagnostics tool and tried the launch control then restarted the car and drove a lil. Done some testing and spirited driving all good

I encountered the same thing before. You may have a bad wheel speed sensor. When it rains heavily, the car will show the error. It would be good to have your sensors checked by the dealer.

Ugh, the 2 days shipping is a challenge. I agree with the above post, I'd take it in, sounds like the rain showed you a sensor error that a dealer should check and be able to easily cover. But getting anything done in the next two days is going to be a miracle, literally.

I hope the sensors are good. Not the first heavy rain drive 🤔

I'm flying in next month, the car 40 days from next week. The new year holiday is proving a challenge for my shipment atm!
Keep a spot for me at GulfRun
