Looking for springtime events to meet viper buddies. I'm a New viper owner here from within an hour of Toronto. Anything good in Canada?

Not Canadian and not spring - but Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit is a really fun event and gets a large group of Viper owners together on the Saturday. Not sure which side of Toronto you're on - but if on the west side, would be an easy 4 hours or less for you. I'm in Sarnia, and have made the trip a couple of times. Congrats on your Viper - what did you get?

That's great news! Where are the scheduled track days? Can you bring your car for festivities even if not tracking my car?
I'm gonna have to stay up on this schedule!

Thanks mike! I got a 1996 GTS, iconic childhood dream! Actually picked it up in Michigan about a half hour from Port Huron. I am from Kitchener area. I've been living and breathing vipers for the past month since getting it, so I am overly anxious to attend events in the spring.

DO the track days! So much fun and an opportunity to push the car far beyond what you would do on the street.

Hooooooly I need to do it now. Ive done a fair amount of kart racing, and I told myself I wouldn't track this GTS I bought, but I don't see myself being able to hold back. Ill have to go to the track day at Cayuga in May to dip my toes in now maybe only for a few laps.

Ive been having difficulties logging into the Club site, but would anyone be interested in doing a cruise day one Sunday around the beginning of May if there isn't one already planned? Maybe around Burlington area?

MAKE sure u have good tires for track day .. you might have great tread depth but the tires are hard as hockey pucks and old... also your brakes.... you have a non ABS viper.... they can bite you.... we have a lot of great people in the Ontario club that you can learn from for track days, Like Jay, Dan, Bruce just to name a few....check out our face book page too

Thanks for the suggestions! Ill look into track wheels with fresh rubber if I decide to touch a track. These cars have an intimidating aura to them, probably due to everyone agreeing they're mental at the limit, so Ill be taking it easy on the street or a track!
