    Model Gen V Toy Cars

Just curious if there's ever been a run of Gen V Viper toy cars? I own a Prowler and I have a couple cases of small Prowler cars I pass out to kids at car shows or anyplace I encounter kids when I'm cruising. They're a good conversation piece. The Prowlers were made by Maisto and were 1:64th scale. Below is what they looked like.

Didn't realize you were capable of responding without being a complete bitter asshole. Good job.

Actually the gen 5 design was prematurely released by hot wheels i believe. About a week before the reveal somebody found the hot wheel version for sale.... so yes there is one!

As BJG mentioned, Hot Wheels has done the Gen V GTS in a variety of colors (Red, yellow, blue, and grey) as well as the GTS-R (silver, black, and blue). Here are a couple:

Somebody is selling a kit to update 1:18 models to ACR. You have to paint though.

There was a guy on eBay that was doing custom Viper models. I got the bug to try and find 1:18 versions of every car I've ever owned. He painted several for me. He even fabricated wings, splitters, spoilers, etc. He made exact copies of my 08 Bright Blue/Silver stripes, 06 FE Coupe, 14 GTS white/black stripe with advanced aero, 09 ACR, and my 15 TA. He replicated the cars exactly including the license plate.

Bad news is, he doesn't do them anymore and here I was hoping if I ever get an ACR-E he would do that too.

Here's pics of the actual models. 1:18 scale

I can't believe there's not been a 1/18 blue/white gen 3 FE coupe. I would love one, the best I've managed so far is a Norev 1/43. I know there was a 1/10 RC model in Toys R Us, but can't find one for sale

Have you got any photos of your gen 3 FE model?

I'm with you there. I asked about him doing one, a 2006 FE, for me and it's not going to be cheap. Also asked about doing a GT3-R in the Gas Monkey livery and holy pricy... I would like to see more pictures of his work.

The only 1:18 Gen 3 coupe model was made by AutoArt. They came in red and black I believe. No Gen 4 coupes. If you can find them they are expensive (like $200). I bought two and had one painted GTS Blue/White Stripe to match my old Gen 3 FE. I had the other one set up to match my old Gen 4 ACR.

A little ways below his name on the youtube page of the video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRm-aBLNPjA ) there are three clickable text selections, "Share" "Embed" and "Email". Click Email. I have not tried to contact him.

You could also google his name and you would find his facebook page, and you may also find links to his auctions on eBay. I remember recently seeing a transkit like he mentions; but, can't remember if it was for a Viper or some other car. A lot of work went into sculpting and making a mold for that SRT hood, I bet. Even if it was done in 3D printing, getting a scale 3D computer model would take a lot of effort unless one had easy access to a large scale 3D scanner.

I was hoping Auto Art would have made some as their models are very well made and detailed. But to date only Bburago and Maisto have made G5 in 1:18 that Ive seen and they aren't on the level of the past Auto Art Vipers I have. I'm surprised they haven't done one yet..

    Look what I found.
