What would you do ACR vs TA decision

Your car is definitely one of my favorite combos ever. I admit I may be regretting my hesitation on that one, and definitely a bit jelly.

I'm 95% looking at the TA. I'd have to fall onto an irresistible ACR situation. For the $ I can add 100hp and some other customizations. I'm also thinking I'm going to have this one a long ass time. So, I can play with wheel combos and wraps/dips much easier if I want to spice it up. Plus I want to represent all around, cruises, speed events, drags, RR, whatever, and the TA is better suited for well rounded events vs being solely focused. With the right tire I can get within 2 secs of the ACR, then I'll rely on my driver mod, haha.

On a side note, having chatted with many ACR guys selling now, I'm amazed how many put like nothing down on a toy car and have pay offs north of $125-130k. Man, I couldn't enjoy something I owed that much on, lol. If I can't pay cash for a toy, I don't buy it, must've been my strict parents. I get sometimes you finance a chunk, but 90% plus, what the what.

Oh please don't tell anybody that you will pay cash. You will suddenly have the "money" people telling you how you are foolish to do that and only an idiot wouldn't finance car and invest the money because they can blah blah blah blah.

Another perspective for you. I had zero problem trading in my 10K mile 2013 SRT Track Pack for a nearly identical looking 14 TA. But, I'm having a much more difficult time justifying trading the TA in for an ACR, because I like the TA so much. I'd rather have both, so I'm working on how to do that. The TA really is that good, for all-around driving and occasional track use.

I really think if this was a TA 1 vs ACR it would be difficult. TA 2 to me is a pointless model and next to an ACR looks anemic.

2.0, but because smoother ride, non CCM brakes and sidewinders makes things easier, better street manners, etc. The baddest car without doing an ACR. That's all. Otherwise, ACR.

I don't understand how someone buys a car like this and then gets rid of it with only 700 miles on it. Didn't they do their research ahead of time to know whether they would like it or not? Or maybe they just have too much money to care.

If I didn't have one already I would just go get that one. Not crazy options but nice and in what I consider to be the classic Gen V ACR-E color scheme.
