Which Hood for GTC with TA 2 0

Okay, after all the discussion about which Hood is best, etc I have a question. Which hood is preferred for a new GTC with TA 2.0 package?

GTS hood, standard with GTC

SRT 6 vent hood

I think many will say the SRT 6 vent hood. It seems to be the preferred hood among the majority and is the default hood that comes with a TA 1.0 or TA 2.0.

That being said, I personally perfer the GTS hood over the SRT. I think it complements the lines of the car a lot better and looks classier.

Ordinarily I would say 6 vent but with your color choice I think the GTS hood works.

All about preference though. If you can't decide that probably means you like the looks of both.

Stripes is better with six vent. Two vent looks best without stripes. Plus with TA 2.0 aggressive aero, six vent is more appropriate with the aesthetic and also the way the cars came from the factory.

I agree with most of the above comments. Hence feeling conflicted. Has anyone seen a TA 2.0 with GTS hood or would it be an anomaly?

Guess I need to do more views on the configurator as final color select will happen soon and then no more changes. Hmm.

If there are stripes on the car I think the GTS hood looks better.

No stripes the SRT hood wins.

Might as well ask which color to get, lol, it's all so subjective. Good thing is there's no bad decision.

If I did a 2.0 GTC build I'd probably go 6 vent, since it goes wit the TA normally. But I too love the GTS style hood and it's easier to dry after washing, lol.

If you are going to track the car and want maximum down force then the SRT hood is a no brainer. Why buy a TA 2.0 and not get the whole package.
I could talk about resale, but that's a BS arguement, because you are the only one that needs to love your car.

My GTS has the two vent GTS hood, my TA 2.0 has the six vent hood. Six is better than two.

I agree. There's nothing "classy" about an ACR(E) or TA 2.0. They scream "bad ass" and so does the 6 vent hood!

I'm with the doc. Nothing elegant or classy about Vipers....lol.....SRT all the way.
However, the Gen IV's actually have best hood ever.

Seems like the general consensus is 6 vent for TA versions. Even my wife agrees so I think it has been decided

with TA 2.0 aero I would go SRT, If its 1.0 aero I would say GTS

With that combo I wouldn't be apposed to the 2 vent hood. It looks good and it would be something different. I doubt anyone would even know/feel the difference between the two driving it on the track or street.

Better idea of the colors. One picture is full sun and other shade. We are still evaluating the gold color though as it may be a bit too much gold-like. Very interested in the opinions, especially related to the hood selection.
