    Removing clear bra

The clear-bra on my new to me 2000 ACR is not great looking. I have no idea how old the clear bra is. It shows orange-peel, and has wrinkles ect... I want to have it removed, but I am afraid it will pull paint. How is the paint on these cars in that regard? I think some manufactures have thick, durable paint and some may be more prone to peeling than others. Any horror stories doing this on Viper's? Or success stories?

    Thanks,
    Connor

Hire an installer! Paint will be fine IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!! When I had my 2016 wrapped this summer guy told me to call only him when I want it removed. Heat and another material need to be applied and again you must let a pro do it or you risk damage. I'm sure there is someone here on the site that has that knowledge but be careful...

Becareful...depending on how long the bra has been on, the paint underneath might have faded differently than other areas. It might be better off leaving it on...

definitely leave it to a pro but heat will do it. Best is to turn on the heat in the garage for a few days before you start to remove it and do it SLOOOOOOWLY

and if the covered part of the car is resprayed, it might take some paint off (probably will)
THE IGNORE FEATURE WORKS, TRY IT...

I pulled mine off last week. It had been on the car for two years. You need to pull back against itself as close to the body of the car as you can. As mentioned above, you need to do this very very slowly. If you try and do it too fast, the glue will remain on the car, which is much more difficult to remove. I had SunTech material on mine, which was fairly easy to remove without leaving the glue behind.
