Very good point, I am just trying to get a good quality video of the sessions. But if you are remotely interested in overlays and data analysis, there are better options. By the time you spend $500 on GoPros and brackets, etc. You can spend a little more and get something like the smartycam from AIM that will record overlay and hook to ODB2 data and do everything for you. Sharmut is right, it really depends on what outcome you want. I used trackaddict (free app) and the resulting video and overlay were actually really good for something free. But when I started really analyzing it, I could tell the GPS was way off and I don't think I got one good accurate lap on it. Now that's with the phone GPS antennae, I'm sure with an external one it would have been really good.
