My buddy Mark and I will be there by 4. We're probably gonna have a beer and a quick bite. Blue 32 has excellent food for good pricing, it's perfect if you want to avoid paying a premium for food at the auction! I'll park my car out front of the restaurant so you will know I'm there.

I'll be at Barrett-Jackson on Friday but plan to move over to Russo & Steele for the 7:30 auction of the Sons of Italy Viper. I doubt that I'll make it to the restaurant for dinner. I'll PM my cell phone number to you; call me when you get to the auction if you'd like to connect.

I'll also be there Thursday evening for the auction of the other 3 Vipers.

I went to Barrett last night and there are a few VERY nice Vipers there. The 98 GT2 is sweet and the Autoform car is real nice too.

I wish I had one that color. It would look soooo good parked beside or cruising with the CE Viper.

Here's the car being sold at Russo & Steele tomorrow that would really complement my Viper well: a blue on white 30th Anniversary Trans Am.

That would be nice addition. I'm a Pontiac fan. Owned a few over the years. I wonder what it will sell for. Unfortunately, due to a prior commitment I can't make Friday night. I would sure like to be there. I'll call you tomorrow am, just for a few minutes.

First pic: Sons of Italy Viper: Sold to Wayne and D'ann for 215K
    Second Pic: Ditto
Third: "Drag Pak" Challenger, the only way to make a Challenger fast....put a Viper motor in it. Bid to 82K, reserve at 100K, no sale.
Fourth & Fifth: 2001 ACR GTS supercharged, estimated 900 HP sold for $40K
    Last: 1993 RT/10, 262 original miles. Sold for $38K.

There was a 1998 or 1999 red w/ white stripe GTS in the auction but i didn't get any pics, sold for $38K. Likely a salvage vehicle according to the master, Eddie Martin.

Not much gets by Eddie now does it!? Always pays to have a Viper inspected by a guru.

    93 rt did 38k +10%. The red 98 I think hit 38. Drag pack didn't sell, 100k reserve and it did 82

Was that sons of Italy viper a "balloon white pearl" or "lamborghini white" sort of color?

It had a definite pearl. It was a beautiful effect on the car in the right light.

Someone did a convertible, 03 I think, in lamborghini balloon white pearl (google search it) that looked absolutely fantastic. I think pearl plays well on these cars. It would be interesting to see more of it. Perhaps a pearl bright yellow with satin black stripes.
