Vin differences from actual acr and the gtc coupe with acr options

Was curious to what the diffence is in the acr vin compared to a gtc with acr options

The 7th digit from the left appears to be the identifying character:

    SRT - 1C3BDEA...
    GTS - 1C3BDEB...
    ACR - 1C3BDEC...
    GTC - 1C3BDED...

Any GTC can have the ACR package and I believe all of the Special Edition ACRs will have a GTC VIN.

For the folks looking for an ACR, keep in mind that the ACR's with 1C3BDEC... VINs have 3 speaker radios, no hood liner and no rear carpeting.

That is correct. Any model with GTC just means it is a 1 of 1 build.
And just to complete it, SRTs have A as their 7th

I just think dodge screwed everyone with this on the gtc acr cars cause insurance will consider the car a gtc not an acr

Correct o mundo, in order to insure for correct dollar amount you will need to provide the insurance company with either the moroney or sales contract...FWIW

What is more money to insure based on VIN? True ACR or GTC that is built as an ACR?

You wouldn't happen to know how the check digit (9th digit from the left) is derived would you? Anyone?

The concierge only gave me my last 6 digits. I can figure out the rest mostly, except the check digit.

The concierge should eventually send you the entire VIN. I have a formula I use, however, at this stage of the game, I probably wouldn't be able to see yours. The highest verified VIN I have is 390 only because it made it down the production line a lot faster than others
