VE H C car just set a new Gen V NA trap speed record and just went 10 0 at Atco

Congrats to Tony Caton in the Northeast! We built a white 2016 SRT Heads and Cam car here about a month and a half ago and he had a chance to get it out today at Atco.

DA at the time of this run was +550 feet and the car has our standard Stage 2 Heads and Cam Package with tune by Dick Winkles. Tony's car has our new Titanium catback, underdrive pulley, ARH Headers, and no cats. Tony was running on my old CCW big and little setup with a Hoosier out back.

Quickest trap speed of the day so far is 141.37 mph and the car just ran 10.0 with a 1.51 60'. When my car ran 9.9 at the Viper Nats my DA was +70 feet so I see Tony getting past my pass pretty easy. I bet it sees 143mph in the 1/4 without the TA 1.0 aero group. Car is full weight other than the Titanium catback that I know of.

    Here's the slip.

My car went 113.9mph in the 1/8 when I trapped 141. I would think some of it is the little bit of aero on it and maybe a little headwind?

Amazing traps and times. Exact same setup VE did on my TA minus the UD pulley. Love the titanium catback & no cats.

And yes it's the stock clutch and only weight reduction is the passenger seat removed...

Tony you need to throw the Stoptech 2 piece rotors on it and add a Braille battery.

Right that's it! You guys are having far too much fun over there

You need to get back to driving some nice sensible cars like a Prius

    Congratulations Andy

Such amazing drag strip numbers with such straight forward engine mods and no FI, while being completely Street able and still RR course perfect, is just ... amazing. Yea it's worth saying it twice. What a setup and without mortgaging your house to do it.

Have you guys tested this kind of setup for passing an OBD2 plug in emissions test? Since the tune rides on a stock PCM, I'm wondering if you kept hiflow cats could you pass.

In new jersey shouldn't be too much longer for air temps to significantly drop, heard the east is in for slight cold spell. But great job Andy, more proof for VE mods
