Does anybody know how the 2" works? Is it fixed all the way to the back or fixed at one position where you set it before bolting it down? I believe the 1" is fully adjustable like stock.

You are correct...the 2" kit is fixed, the 1" kit is adjustable.
I'm running the 1" kit, it's adjustable but not as easy to use as OEM.
