    Clutch engagement

    The Viper seems a little more finicky than most cars at keeping the rpm higher than most cars as you let out the clutch. There have been a few 2 or 3 occasions where it stalled on me. Conversely there have been a couple occasions where stalling would have been dangerous so gunned it with the clutch only partially engaged. How many times can you get away with that before you burn up the clutch?

    That is the aluminum flywheel causing the problem, not enough inertia. You are not going to hurt the clutch and if you do, it is easy to change.

    1500rpm & roll out with some slip for 1st car length from initial starting point would be a pretty normal drive off.
