Next to my stable I ll be just a solo Viper ACR E owner

Well I've decided to be just a solo ACR-E owner...

But this will be joining her...

    Superformance GT40, with a Roush 427 560+ HP, and 2200 lbs.

    YEHAW!

Should be finished in May '17... the Viper will have a buddy.

And YES in Heritage Colors... will be an exact close (as close as you can get) to P1075, the firstcar to win LeMans 2x back to back in the modern era.

Great looking vehicle! What size and brand of tires will you use to contain that beast? Also, is it a 5- or 6-speed?

It will be a 5 speed... I'm getting the WIDE rear end option, which is just like the original car...

... its a 15 inch wheel and special DOT racing tires... 335s... by Michelin... Speed rated.

It was the first car to win back-to-back, but it's been done several times since by both Porsche and Audi (and maybe Peugeot too).

Right hand drive and right hand shift ? If so, you da man ! I have seen one in person (the accurate repro), and it is a real time machine !

What do those run if you don't mind sharing? The ones I've seen pricing seems all over the place.

Absolutely, right hand steer, right hand shift...

Prices vary WILDLY by options and engine... NT-ACR is right, roller is about $130k.
I'm going all out with a full Roush 427FI w/ a period look carb that is actually fuel injection... not cheap.
Wide body, even the little lights that light up the roundel numbers at night...

    Total about $195k

It should run like crazy... and the sound is simply amazing.

4 cars have had consecutive wins...

The first was a Bentley Speed Six #LB2332 1929-1930

    But for the modern era:

    United States Ford GT40 #P-1075 1968-1969
    Germany Porsche 956 #117 1984-1985
    Germany Porsche WSC-95 #002 1996-1997

Those are the only cars that have repeated (same chassis) in consecutive years... the GT40 1075 the first of the modern era.

That GT40 would nice next to a red/white Oreca heritage wrapped ACR-E.

Man, what an awesome addition. A GT40 is exactly what I want to add next too. Need pics of them together OP.

Appreciate the info. Always liked them. The pricing sounds about right based on the light blue one that has been on ebay.
