    Noise while Turning

    Hello Forum,

Recently I have been hearing a deep Grown or moan like noise coming from the Viper (2015 GT), It only happens when I make a slow/wide turn. Last Friday, I put brand new Pirelli P-Zero on all four wheels (It came with Corsa's), and had the differential fluid changed at the dealer last Friday. Before I posted this I called the dealer and was unable to speak the Viper Tech, but was able to talk to my service advisor, I asked him exactly what part number of diff oil they put in the Viper, because I had seen previous threads about diff issues, his response was part number 68218657AA W/friction modifier, I also explained the issue and he was clueless. Is this the correct diff fluid?

I can't exactly pin-point where the noise is coming from, is this the Diff? Or could the tires be needing to have some miles on them? No CEL, or any other warnings......

You have a 15 and your corsas are already bald? im guessing youre not a track rat bc you downgraded to p zeros, but this would have been easy if each job was done seperately, but im guessing that kind of noise has to be the diff

Are you sure it's not tire chatter?

possible hub bearing, load and unload the suspension while driving to see if the noise changes

That is not the part # reported to be correct by several people here, including a highly respected Viper Tech & member of the VOA tech team:

The correct Mopar Part number for the Viper's diff fluid is 68197927AA. This was posted in this thread. http://driveviper.com/forums/threads...r+differential

My fluid is getting changed today and the dealer special ordered the fluid, most dealers won't stock it.

Weather in mid 50's or lower will cause tire chatter.... could be a weather thing.

Thank you all for your responses, I ordered that part number yesterday, it is disappointing that the dealer would not know of this.
