For what it is worth..
My TA sold well above 90K. I had several interested parties - all great to work with.
An Orange TA - mint condition - with zero issues - should sell in that range.
Plenty tried to tell me otherwise - Oh well.

Good for you, and this is what I would expect. Good models, colors, condition cars should do well, and possibly even better in the future. Just like the Media, you cannot always believe what you hear... or see posted here by about <20 posters.
I'm actually 50/50 on selling. I have my first born baby coming in April and a part of me wants to try out a Gallardo Convertible before he comes. I was also thinking of just keeping the TA and adding a gen 4 Vert. I really don't use the TA for what's it's built for. Every few weeks I seem to change my mind but the Italian exotic has me curious and think I want to try it out! Plus this so cal weather has me missing a Vert too.
Gallardo Vert? What year? I think the 1st gen was very bland, but Gen 2 looked very refined. Unfortunately, only Gen 1 came with a stick, with the exception of the VB edition for Gen 2.
IMHO, think your making a mistake switching from a very rare and unique car, but hey, if nothing else, the V10 engine in the lambo will be worth it!
Well over $90K as in over $90, but under $91K? I think you got a great number for your car. Must have been a premium in there because it was a 1 owner stock car.
Exactly why I'm 50/50! The TA is such a blast but a part of me wants to experience the G. I drove a 6 speed 2004 and was ok. I'd want a 2006+ 6 speed Vert which is hard as hell to find. I'm still gonna drive the e gear as well to see if I like it but thinking about not having 3 pedals bothers me big time.
#26 sold for $70K a couple months ago. 1 owner car as well. While I agree that most are priced in the mid $80K range, what actually matters is what they are actually selling for. I think this seller found the right buyer at "well over" $90K considering there are a few out there right now "well under" $90K.

Zee, if you like 'driving' a GEN5 Viper I think you will be very disappointed with an N/A Gallardo. I'm not speaking from just a HP perspective, but from the handling, driving experience, etc. Take a test drive before you go down that path. Unless you plan to make it a 1500hp+ Lambo.![]()
Do we really need a new thread on this every few days? There is a TA thread
Owned no, but plenty of driving experience with them on the street and track. That said, each person derives value differently from owning and operating these vehicles, so spend some time in one and determine it for yourself. Good luck with whatever you decide!
EDIT: To be clear, I'm not talking about the TT monsters. That's an entirely different discussion.![]()

That's awesome Kurt! Congrats on the sale...and to the new owner! Didn't it sell rather quickly?
I hope you'll have fond memories of your time with the TA. And enjoy your new ride!
Bruce
Off topic to the thread : zee, I think if your two options are to keep and add a gen 4 or sell and get a G spyder, I think you can get almost any G with your budget. The Viper at about 90k plus 60kish for the gen 4 gives you 150k to work with. Why limit to an 06? If anything you could go for an older 100kish G and add a REALLY nice Gen 2 Viper. Would be a really nice combo. And a great problem to have!
On topic, I agree we can merge this with either the TA thread or the TA values thread. I'm glad OP, that you got what the car is worth. There are no shortage of potential buyers right now specifically seeking out TA cars from what I gather on FB and these forums. Congrats!
Super duper late edit :I think as some sell its a good time now and for the foreseeable future as production looks to be over and if ACRE cars hold their values the TA is the next best option for track history and significance. Also,it's a limited and unique car and it appears people are seeking them out and paying for it. As the configurators are closed, it's hard to not like the TA aesthetic with all the aero pieces along with the history. It may have a slight surge in value and the OP may have been the beneficiary of that as I'd say orange was pulling around 87-90k for the majority of summer. So good luck to those selling now.... Do the community proud!

I got an offer for $87k on mine from another member a little while back- just not ready to sell yet. Which one sold for $79k? The one that had the stage 2 setup where warranty is voided? Another member sold his TA with 4k miles for $90k earlier this year. No way a clean, stock, no stories Orange TA is worth 70-80k. Mid 80 to low 90s is the market value.
