No ACR, but, in spite of everything, I'm still enjoying my '13 Track Pack. Wish I had the chance to drive it more, hopefully this weekend, but now there is rain in the forecast.

And my friend with a '16 ACR, and is a track junkie, basically says its the best track car he's ever had - and he had (and sold a GT3). He has a new GT3 RS coming in December.

Pic is in my avatar. '13 model year option only - SRT with SW2s, 2-piece StopTechs, and Corsas - and not much else (although I do have full leather). Lightest Viper, and supposedly the fastest top-speed and in a straight line. Not that I've tested that.....!!

Never run it - weight I believe listed at 3290 - so 3300 lbs.

Enjoying my modded to the heavens TA. In addition to the heads and cam I also have the very light and loud titanium custom VE catback with no cats. I think I scared out any possible debris in my engine!

Trying to balance getting break-in miles done before winter hits and taking it apart for product development... enjoying either driving, working on, or looking at it all the same.

Thank you, there is a lot of pearl so as many of these colors do it can look quite different depending on the lighting.

I put about 230 miles on mine over the weekend and plan on putting another 500-600 on it before putting it in the trailer for Sebring next weekend.

Diff fluid change? You know the deal already. Makes a mess. But it seems like it's those with the ring and pinion out of alignment that have this issue.

Knock on wood I have not had a single issue. Nothing. Car is the most amazing car I have ever had. Can't believe you just go buy it like this and go. Pretty sure this one is a keeper.

I'll do the diff fluid after Sebring next weekend. But yeah, it's on the list. Did you go to 660 or SRF brake fluid?

SRF. Worked fine all season. Bleed them after every event though. Sometimes during. I like how the pedal comes back after fresh fluid is introduced again.

On mine the only thing I would change out is the CCB's. They work fine but not any better than the Essex AP Racing endurance kit on the C6 and they do not have the same level of feel whatever that means. When I go back and forth from one car to another I am always surprised at how well those AP brakes work.

I hear the weight thing all the time but quite frankly I do not drive the car anywhere near it's actual limits so for me it's a non issue when also considering consumables cost. I am guessing I have 6k just in replacement brake pads in the last 5 months.

I've been running SRF for the last few years and have been very happy with it. I've had issues with Motul in 2 cars where I believe it was boiling the fluid in the caliper and I lost a lot of pedal.
I hear you on the CCB's. Roncfp has the VE BBK on his car as it was one of the few early ACR-E's with iron brakes. And he's very happy with it and pads are cheap. The brakes on that car felt great to me, albeit, I wasn't pushing the car very hard over a handful of laps.

I'm enjoying my ACR, no doubt.
I'm done with the 500 miles break-in period and I need to put some more mileage on that thing so that I can take it to the track.
The North CA chapter of VOA is probably going to have a track day at Laguna Seca end of November and I am hoping to have 1500 miles by that time so that I can go

I'm new to the whole Viper thing so I'm taking it slowly.
No mods whatsoever for me or at least not until the warranty wears out. Plus I don't believe that the ACR needs anything at all since it's got all the power and torque one could ever hope for.
The only thing I got for the car is the Teamtech harness (which is flippin' awesome BTW)

Have you driven other cars at Seca- curious to see what times you will get from the ACR the only problem I foresee with the ACR is your buddies inability to keep up.
I've driven my Elise there a bunch of times and my Focus ST (once and for one session only before I melted the brakes).
I've never cared to time myself so I really have no clue as how fast or slow (most likely) my times were. I'm planing on buying an AiM SoloDL early next year so I'll know where I stand.

Since I usually go alone to track days, I don't have to worries about my buddies crying because they can't keep up

Edit: If your ACR-E looks anything like your avatar, it's going to be freaking awesome! I love that color combo even though I'm not into white. I guess that the blue stripes make it work for me.

Another pour soul lost in the VOA chatter.

I commend you sir for stepping up and choosing to modify your car, I really I do. But please do not undermine the issues that we have been discussing. People are not butt hurt, they simply have complaints that need to be taken care of. There are lot of good stories too. I agree that there may be a lot of debate and b/s thrown around that lacks factual matter, but there are some genuine stories on here from good guys that are in an unfortunate situation. You should think twice before you have 100% faith in your dealer because in reality, they have zero authority on warranty issues. They simply do what they are told. How they handle the situation and how communicative they are with you is up to them, and that is what the dealer experience is all about. You push product. You can do it in an honorable and customer-service orientated way, or you can be an asshole and treat customers like shit (for however long that lasts)

But in the end.....once the hammer drops at FCA, you are on your own

Congrats on your car and I cant wait to see pictures of when you receive it!

I was looking for Dodge to do a red/white GTS-R special edition, but the White and Blue did not disappoint at all!

Online can gain some serious traction. Some guys who had problems had Andy wheeler and others going to bat for them so I wouldn't be too quick to assume it's all on deaf ears. Social media is powerful too. Usually collective minds can bring the best outcomes for any situation good or bad.

Regarding clips. Check out viper owners of America on Facebook. I have some clips up there. I'm usually typing from an iPad or phone and don't have a good way to upload video to this site. It sounds fantastic though; especially if you like very very loud and an aggressive lope.

The internet is a powerful tool. You are heavily underestimating your position as a consumer if you think otherwise. It is the age of information, the more you have access too, the more powerful your position is in a debate. It is your job to take the info at face-value or take the time to cross-check and confirm. Unfortunately, most people take a lot of things on the internet at face value.

Of course this doesn't mean that you don't step up and physically act as well i.e. work with the dealership.

BTW, your dealer is adding CF interior? What are they charging you? You couldn't opt for that during build? I was under the impression the special editions come fully loaded with CF.

What suspension are you going with? I might be interested in your ACR coil overs!

If they can't get it done retain a lawyer the internet is not the place to do battle it is not powerful but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Sadil you and others have an axe to grind go for it - it's a free country.

I value my time and enjoyment way too much to let a potential engine issue get under my skin. If it blows it blows if it doesn't it doesn't could care less tires on a good track weekend cost more.

There is no interior CF in the GTS-R and VE is upgrading the interior shock suspension and engine no intent of selling misc parts - thanks for the offer.
Cf interior is the last touch needed on your car. Wow its going to feel great having the most bad ass super car in the production market today. The 1:28 car, Voodoo II are going to be epic too and I personally think the American flag themed dealer edition will be one of the most epic snakes ever made.

Your stable sounds killer. Any pics?

I wonder how much the quote is for a factory CF interior, and how they plan to source all the parts. Some were believed to be unavailable. Cost obv would not a care in the world if you have an SV Roadster loll...but still hope they can deliver on their promise.
