SRT should know that number especially if they stopped taking orders.

I believe they only stopped taking orders for ACR Extremes. I think you can still get any other Gen 5 model.

Stopped taking orders for all of vipers as of right now. They may reopen ordering later or they may not, they don't know yet.

Good point. I'd hate to have to settle for a run of the mill Huracan or Aventador when you can have a Dodge.

Well we both know from having or having had Gallardo that we've seen more of those on the road than we have Gen V snakes. That the latter is more exclusive isn't a matter of opinion. Its factual.

Under 4,000. Not very many. Hold on to them tightly.

I have a strong appreciation for a wide range of high performance exotics that offer unique styling and great performance, which the Viper also fully embodies. It's a shame that various factors like the poor launch and initial media reviews conspired to turn away many who would have been thrilled to buy and own a new one.

But, like with some other great cars that were under appreciated when new, there is no doubt in my mind that enthusiasts will soon discover the Gen V in the used car market where it will be seen as an extraordinary bargain for a car that offers exotic looks, rarity, low maintainance, exceptional performance, and durabilty on the race track that extremely few can match.

Good point - look at the Dodge Daytona. When that came out, dealers were discounting them like crazy and they still weren't moving. I remember seeing them at the time and thinking "that's kind of cool, but the wing and mis-shapen pointy nose look like crap - I like the Charger a whole lot more." I wish I would have picked one up - I remember when I'd see them in the hot rod section of the local newspaper for $3k when I was 14 and washing dishes to save up enough money to buy a car.

Apparently there seems to be some confusion of how many Gen V's were built 2013 thru 2016 so far leading to such low guesses. This non owner can't be the only one with a calculator

Sure hope there not just building 200-300 this year, if they do, your all on target

Hint: there is a calculator on you smart phone

I don't know where your getting your numbers from, but 2015 and 2016 are horribly wrong

Why is it that a non owner knows and an owner does not

Viper registry is horribly out of date.
    642 Vipers built in 2016
