Not ouder but this is just crazy money. I know 2 Gts-r cars for sale in really good condition for 100k less. I am just flabergasted on the selling price for a car that is in a bad shape.

So if someone needs a gtsr be quick now because the prices are going skyhigh on short notice

No that's not it at all, Everything at the Auction went for silly moneys.
Example: Somebody paid 17k euro all in for a 2007 VW Beetle Cabriolet - 7k car if 0 miles/mint over here? Is it collectible/rare - does it have a porsche 935 engine in the boot/solid gold brake discs? - probably not. A good example of the bidding hysteria prevailing at the sale, and most cars were in poor barn find / storage condition.
Another example: esso petrol station sign,
There was a large sign in the auction which went for 13k euros. Estimated to go for 500 and 750 euros.

In the next Hall was a used garage sign stall. They had the exact same size esso sign for sale at 2300 euros. which you could take away there and then with no buyers fees and no vat.

All prices were unrealistic. and the auction house had charged everyone 100 euros to bid! so that's another nice sum they made from people.

Man that GTSR would probably be a blast around a track. Front sway bar setup is beastly!

I'm late to the party here but I had found this list and updated it to the best of what I could find. I think I posted it on the GTS-R picture thread on here. Guess I need to update it again.

I haven't searched lately but is that the real asking price right now for a running Oreca built car? Any idea what Florent Moulin is asking for chassis C35?

I would love to know more about the chassis number on the RT/10 and who stamped that number?

I need to try and ask him via FB if he still plans to write a book on the GTS-R program.

For those that were interested in the GTS-R at the auction - has anyone checked into this car at all?
    https://racecarsdirect.com/Advert/De...7238/viper-gts

*Update* - This doesn't appear to be an Oreca built GTS-R. I don't know what differed with a Chamberlain Motorsport built GTS-R. The advert claims it was entered at Le Mans in 1999 but I couldn't find any record of that. It doesn't appear on the program for that year.

If you find anything else out about the car or its value please share. Love learning more about these and where they ended up.

In searching yesterday I came across ads for C31 when it was available. Don't know where it went but thats a holy grail level car.

Asking price of the car is €165.000 but it could well be higher at this moment, as the car on auction went for a lot more then that.

Thanks for the history! Do you know if Chamberlain built their cars to the same specifications as Oreca or did they incorporate their own design/setup elements?

Most of their cars where identical to the Oreca cars, although sometimes they used a different kind of air intake, like a "madder" airbox out of Carbon and using 10 separate throttle bodies inside that box.
