Thanks for posting, would love to have that GTSR. Couldn't find chassis #, wonder what the history is?

Not sure how many people here remember that RT/10, iconic viper racer in European before the arrival of the GTS body.

Keep us posted on details and pricing.

By the way, not sure if I ever thanked you for putting me in touch with Nadine. Thanks!!! Long story short she helped me buy and ship comp coupe C92 back to the states. Its at Dan Cragin's shop right now.

Tammy Allen sold it. She is usually quite a viper fan so I'm a little surprised but I guess if you are staring down 100k payday, everything has a price.

    Lengthy article...........reason for sale is
Allen said Tuesday she made the decision to close Allen Unique Autos and liquidate its world-class collection of cars because business managers recommended it, but also because her passion for the work evaporated since her 36-year-old son, Landon, died in June.

I had seen this list while I was researching my comp coupe, has every GTSR every built, shows original owner, second owner if known and some additional comments.

As you'll see, Racing Box was the first owner and this viper was built in 2003

Where did you find out it was Chassis # 45. Emails from Sothby's say they have no documentation on the car.

Chassisnumber of this car is stated on the lot itself just below the pictures.

I have been told that this car has some accidents in his past and that the motor could be ruined also. They have no documents what so ever. Been in contact with Sotheby about this car, and received some additional pictures, but it will need a lot of work to get it right. And then you still have to hope for the best that the engine is not ruined.

The Le mans Viper is the parts car, and NOT the car that run the 24 hours du mans. The original car had been auctioned a while back for craze money. This could still be a nice project, but don't expect it to have a pricetag as the original race viper. Just a little heads up.

The BDM comp coupe is a really nice car, you got it cheap! Have fun with that beast!

Looking at the front wheel it looks to be to far to the inside, the left front looks far more to the outside. I think there is something wrong with this car, but Sotheby is not able to tell unfortunately. Too bad I had no time to see the car in person.

Those GTSR cars are in a world of their own. Comp coupes are amazing cars but the GTSR drops my jaws to this day! I fully expect that car to reach the same status as the old race Porsches of the Seventies. Mystical status..........

OMG! I know Viper gts-r cars are lovely, but the one auctioned just now went for €215.000 !! So including all costs someone paid €246.476 for that car. The was is really not worth that kind of money.... pfff
