Matthew Mayhem for all our Viper and MoPar Friends

May be in the middle of the US of A , but having sold Snakes and other MoPar machines since the 90s, we have a ton of folks from Miami, Ponte Vedra Beach , Melbourne, Jacksonville , Hobe Sound, St. Mary's Georgia, Charleston , Tybee Island, Wilmington, to the Virginia Beach area, just to name a very few. My wife and I were talking last night and I started to list all our friends along the area deemed to be hardest hit and frankly it was making me a nauseous! After 50 names we stopped counting and I realized there was no way to convey all our concerns and prayers than just reaching out through the VOA Forum. All of you in the affected area, friends , customers and fellow MoPar maniacs, the Club is really concerned for you! I did reach out to a few and got no response ,so I do so hope many of you have gone to areas of safety. Many of us are super concerned and please use this Forum or other means to let us know you are safe as the worst Hurricane to his this area, possibly ever, bears down on you.

    God Bless!!

Appreciate you thinking about us. Here in Florida this is something we deal with on occasion. It's not like you get use to it, the power outage is bad but no water for weeks is the really miserable part. Most of us have generators and we dig them out, dust them off and make sure they crank up. Then it's off to the gas station, grocery store to pick up fuel, water, batteries, and all that last minute stuff we forgot about. I will say almost everyone helps everyone else if they can, sharing gasoline, bottled water, propane for the grill and so on. Hopefully Matthew stays further offshore then expected and we only get the less than hurricane strength winds and rain that goes with it. I will say hurricanes always come with a lot of advance warning which isn't something you get with earthquakes, tornados etc so Florida isn't a bad place to call home.

Yes, if you live in an area that gets hit, please check in to let everyone know you're ok.

Likewise, if you need help, check in to see if any of your nearby car peeps are in better shape, and are able to help you out.
Use the Report a post feature... It works!

I'm in Englewood on the Gulf coast. We are in the pretty safe zone so if I can be of help to anyone who isn't, don't hesitate to ask. I'll do whatever I can. I bid you all Godspeed.
