Quick oil question

Quick question what oil are you acr guys using if you are using the car for road and track days?

15W50 is fine for summer temps and Track Use, but always allow a few minutes to warm up before leaving. If anything less than summer, run 0W40 or 5W40. My personal favorite is 5W40 Mobil1 Turbo Diesel oil, but that is most at home on Blower/TT applications due to its higher temp handling.

The big key to running the heavy 15w50 for track is to MAKE SURE you warm it up before getting in the throttle. Otherwise you can collapse the filter.

I run with Mobil 1 15-50 for track and street. It doesn't get cold here so I don't worry about winter temps. Probably in your area you would want to change to a lower viscosity for winter street driving.
