Could use help p1484 car overtemp

So I have been doing some fine tuning and my most recent tune gives me a p1484 cat overtemp. I can't s m to shake this code. I have reset the ecu, created a brand new tune file, gone over the tune several times but can't seem to permenately get rid of the code, it always comes back. Thanks for any ideas.

Car runs great other than that.

What kind of ECU and tuning platform you are using? That info might be handy.

The only thing I can think of that could measure cat temp is the downstream sensor. Given that, a few things come to mind.

    * you are running so fat the cat is overheating

    * the rear sensor is defective

Do you have a wideband? What a/f are you running if so? Try pulling the rear sensors out or use non foulers.

If the car is running correctly otherwise I wouldn't suspect something like a plugged cat.

I would have thought to be a relevant statement when you were first explaining the problem about a code about cats overheating.

Good luck. I don't play the "Why do I have to ask you what your car is" game for more than one set of exchanges.
