anyone experience a separation from the windshield moulding

Any suggestions on fixing this or shall I rip the rest of it so it looks uniform? Not sure if it would let rain water in the car... I meant to say water in from washing it

I would not rip it off. Either replace it with new or reattach it with some black RTV.

I don't see how you could get a new piece to attach to the metal frame so perfectly.

Glue it back in with some black weatherstrip adhesive. Done. BTW, if we did it, you would never know it was ripped.
