So what requirements do you have to have to work at motor trend? "this is complicated" It sure is especially when you don't look in the right spot for the hood release!
No kidding, doesnt even know where the hood release is.
I guess thats a good thing the general public will not know. Yes anyone can look it up on google, but it would have been cool if he opened the hood as the camera was panning around so it wouldnt exactly show how it was done.
Love it.
The easiest one to open and they fail, just like most of there magazine reviews.
Wow !!! And he is the supposed expert people get info from !....lol !
What a chump! Unfrigging believable, then goes onto the GTR, This is the supercar killer, I hate piss poor Journalism As usual those in Suits had no idea what they were looking at
AMP friends?
LOLLLLL im atually glad they f&$#$ up so the mystery still remains on fox rather than the blah blah blah about being to easy to vandalize. I want people walking buy to think its "too complicated" to open lol
The thing is he remembered enough to know there wasn't going to be a lever there but couldn't remember how to open it so he had to pretend to do something.
LOL...That was funny. Haha...I can imagine how dumb he felt after he realized where it is. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to memory loss because of nerves.
Also he mentioned the GTR as the supercar killer while the hypercar killer is sitting right next to it..Funny how all the cars there except the Carrera would wax the GTR in the straights and the twisties.
BWWWAAHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....Ive had all 5 gen.s and it is by far the easiest to open....if he woulda actually taken a nanosecond of show prep.....duhhhhhhhhh!
This reminds me of the first time I had a major problem with my Viper. I took it to Scottie Pipen Dodge (out of business now - for good reason) in 1994. The "viper tech" went to get into the car - and didn't know how to. He asked me where the door handle was....
Comedy. I think I know where that mechanic is working now... working in television.
If that guy put his hands all over my car and leaned against it he would be picking himself off the ground.
LOL I cant make fun of him it took me looking in the manual to figure out the first time
Go ahead and touch the car cause I will be taking your girl for test drive when your done too.
Bruce
Cmon , Fatboy , he did mention the really cool door handles on the GTR, ha. That's what I always look for in a supercar ...............neato, bazeato , door handles!!!
People who know nothing about this car just need to walk away and STFU.......... They just embarrass themselves and waste our time.
I guess i don't have to worry so much about just anybody opening my hood anymore.
Total doofus ...ugh
Have to say Bill, I normally refrain from using bad language on internet forums, but that guy really got under my skin! You don't just film a scene like that, the cars would have been organized to be in those positions, the guy up front on camera would have been briefed prior to filming what they were going to shoot, and that's what you end up with! They did not even promote the fact that the car was Home Grown and could be proud of Sitting with those cars for 1/2 the price!
