Horn on many vipers does not work. Had my module replaced, worked for a week, now does not work.

Don't worry, it's normal. Many Viper owners experience an invisible deer that comes out of nowhere, hits your car, and then disappears. Your car is just trying to save you from one of these. Trust me - these things do happen.

Geeze, guess it's a Gen V thing. I can barely ever get my Gen 4 horn to sound exactly when I need to! Takes several seconds of pounding to find the seemingly fluid "sweet spot". With the top down, I do better with a scream!

That would be seriously embarrassing. It's like your car doesn't want to go fast.

I believe there is a recall on this. Take it to your dealer, make sure all the other recalls are done too, you can check on the recall site https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls.html

This is a "feature" not a defect. It's best experienced when sleeping at night or at a C&C where your friends can laugh at you.

    Both are true stories.

No matter what anyone says, best time to experience this is at 3am, in bed, above garage, with your wife & dog in bed with you, ask me how I know.

Trip to dealer for recall/TSB whatever, solved it.

Had both of these things happen to me. Needless to say I ran into the garage with a shot gun thinking someone was stealing my car.

I have had this same issue happen a few times but the horn has completely stopped working. It's on my list of things to have looked at over the winter.

Search for my thread. Air bag assembly needs to be replaced. In the meantime you can pull out the fuse from the fuse box
