    N O S Front Fascia for 1997 GTS

N.O.S. Front Fascia for 1997 GTS

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I need to replace the front fascia on my 1997 B/W GTS.
The O.E. Part Number is MOPAR Part No. Part No. 5014539AA
This part number has the " 3 slots" for the Fog Lamp Lens Covers on each side
    of the Fog lamp Recess.
You can see the fog lamp lens "slots" in N.O.S. Fascia in the photos attached.
    This number is discontinued.

However, MOPAR Part no. 5014539AB is available from MOPAR PARTS
and after researching these units in the Milwaukee Warehouse,
these DO NOT have the Fog lamp "slots" that I require.

I did locate a correct N.O.S. Part No. 5014539AA from Viper Paul, however,
I am concerned about damage in shipping via truck freight and the potential hassle for filing a damage claim.
This large box must be shipped via Truck Freight and this could get damaged in the semi trailer.

If I purchase the MOPAR Part No. 5014539AB from my MOPAR parts supplier,
it will be insured against damage and shipped at no charge.
Also, if damaged, it would be returned and replaced immediately.

I need to reach out to any 1996-1997-1998 GTS Owner that could
trace the "template" on note book paper as to locate the slots.

I humbly ask any GTS owner with fog lamp covers that could provide
a LEFT and Right Template .
I would compensate for your efforts.

Thank you to the Forum members that assist me in my endeavor.

Can't you trace the points off the fascia you are replacing? It looks difficult to establish a reference point on the tracing. Might be better to place the outermost hole, and mark the other two using the fog light cover. Just some thoughts, good luck.

Thank you for the offer of assistance.

Actually, I need a "template" for each fog lamp opening with the "slots" location.
This requires the fog lamp lens being removed.

I have all the photos on hand.

I may "sacrifice" one of my old fog lamp lens and use it to locate the slots in the New N.O.S. Front Fascia from MOPAR
that does NOT have the slots.

Again, thank you for the offer.

I do not have my original front fascia.
I brought it to a body shop to have the stripes "re-clear coated" to repair stone chips.
It has been at this body shop since January 2016.
It is a long story and legal case is pending.

I cannot comment until the case is heard and settled.

    ---------------

Logic dictates that I purchase a N.O.S. Front Fascia and move on.......
