Highest Mileage Viper 130 000 miles

First post- I just bought a '94 Viper just over a month ago.

I always loved the first Gen viper, I had a poster on the wall back in 1992 when it came out and a die cast model I cherished. I use to watch the Viper TV show- I am a big fan of them! Always wanted to own one and finally found the right deal that allowed me to!

I am very impressed how the car has held up- being a 400hp car with 130,000 miles. It shifts great, clutch works great, handles great, rides great, starts and runs great, everything works (well except the alarm and the floor heat), paint looks great, a little wear in the drivers seat and the faded dash but otherwise you would never guess it was more than a 30,000 mile car!

I drive it to work ~3 days a week since I bought it Love it!

I bought it from the local Dodge dealer who told me they believed it had the highest mileage of any 1G Viper in the country.

Wondering if anyone knows any higher mileage Vipers? Is mine the highest 1G?

It puts a smile on my face to see these machines actually driven rather than polished and photographed all the time

I'd get the oil analyzed at the next oil change.

+100,000 miles is nothing for a Gen1/2 engine if maintained properly...enjoy and take care of the rubber too, the most important part on any Viper!

I have a customer with a 1997 GTS 229,000 miles. We just had to change the cam, lifters and did a valve job. Still going strong.

    Thanks!

Wow glade to hear there are some 200K mile Vipers out there! I guess mine doesn't have high miles after all

Impressive, how many other supercars ever get 200,000 miles!?!

I will admit, the car makes me happy even sitting in the garage, but it was built to be driven! Brings smiles to many faces not just mine
