Made my own brass monkey wheels!

I feel in love when i fist saw this picScreenshot_20160909-233458.jpg

So i pieced together a set of venoms and made my own. I had to mix 4 different powders to get the color i wanted. Came out great!

I think I may have found my eventually wheel choice..SW2 in bronze..... Did you sandblast the wheels or strip them before powder?

And then they said "He changed the wheels and that's our root cause analysis for engine failure"

Wheels look great! I ordered the brass monkey wheels for my GTC ACR, and I asked if I could have the gas fill in brass monkey and they said no! Now I'm thinking I can buy another gas fill and have it custom powder coated as you did your wheels.
    Thanks
    Pat

Yes! I thought of that too, but my current gas cap is carbon fiber and ill be switching between matte black sw2 and these so im not doing it. I actually have 2 extra gas caps i am thinking of coating one brass and selling the wheels and cap as a set when im done.

In order to coat you will have to bust the welds on the fuel door. Inside the hinge (where you cant see) there is a plastic spacer/washer. You'll need to remove it or it will melt..... im not talking about the spring that opens the fuel door.

    Bronze burst
    Thanks Mike!

My color was obtaind by mixing 1 part gloss gold, 2 parts mayte bronze, 1.5 parts matte black, and .5 parts gloss black. A bunch of trial and error got me that formula...

The bronze looks great! Do it!
