    After 14 years,,,,,,

I finally parted ways with the "Baddest Gen. 1 On The Planet" Kind of sad, been part of the family for 14 years...........

Sold it to my cousin, so it's kinda still in the family!!!

Upgraded to an 08 ACR I got a smokin' deal on. Had some damage but after it came out of my shop it is flawless. Of course it had to have green on it so I did the opposite of the Gen 1. Sublime pearl stripes over black with a hint of green pearl in it. Has to be in bright sun to see the pearls.

She is known as the "EVIL TWIN".

Would love to know more about the Gen 1, When was it converted into a Coupe? Looks like a great job, did you do it? Bet there was a lot of work involved in that!

I did it about 8 years ago. Actually was pretty straight forward. Just basically unbolt and bolt back on with some strategic places for bonding adhesive. I really like that car. Real head turner.

Siamesed the dash with a gen 2 so I could keep the glove box. Window switch goes where the ashtray went. Gen 1 seats. Custom rollbar.

Gen 1 fuel tank. Even rigged up a switching relay to use the original key fob to lock the doors.

Congrats Mitch!!! I will always love the GTX, but you will love the ACR. You did a great job converting it, so much so most cannot tell it was a Gen 1.

Congrats! Your G1 conversion was truly unique.. Over the years I've seen a few G3 conversions but never a G1 except yours
