    Rear window latch

So the rear window latch on my gts broke free from the adhesive about nine months ago. I used jb weld epoxy to secure the latch plate to the window. Well today the plate broke free again.

Anyone have suggestions as to what will hold?

Would they use the same glue (I don't know) used for "Rear View Mirror"? to glue the metal pad to the windshield, that stuff is made for glass to metal. I would assume that the prep to remove old glue first is very important and is a must for long term adhesion.

Thought I was the only one that would have this issue. Mine hasn't come off yet but has started to come off on one portion of it. Maybe I can try cleaning it and using some of that adhesive to to help keep it from getting worse.

I ended up using this stuff, http://irongripadhesive.com

After letting it cure for 24 hours, the latch is holding. Time will tell if it lasts.
