    Hood for sale

For those that may be interested I have a carbon fiber hood for sale.

    Ad here....http://driveviper.com/classifieds/bo...iber-hood.html

If you have a Solid SSG car (no stripes) Its already painted SSG. Will certainly change the look of your car.

I can get more pics of the hood upon request.

    Thanks for looking.

How were you able to fit the original OEM hood vents in? And what hood is that?

The hood came with screens that were removed and I had to use a little elbow grease to remove the tabs that held hose screens in place. There were little indentations in the hood where all the OEM pushpuns are suppose to go. I drilled the holes and the rest is history. It was a Vipair two sided carbon hood. OEM copy not the Big snout.

I never put the screens the Gen IV on my Gen III car. People loved it. I loved it. I have thought more than a few times about taking these out of my Gen IV hood.

I love the way these cars look when left open.

No point in letting this thread die just yet. I am the new owner of Bob's hood - meeting you was a pleasure Bob! It is already in the paint shop, snorkel and back side stays carbon and the rest will be black. Trying the vent screens in satin nickle finish for contrast, but might also try leaving them out. Will post pix when complete.
