New Club Events Director - Debbie Ruckert

As you all know, we have a number of appointed national director positions - as the key to diversifying is making sure things have adequate attention to sustain. Months ago I created a new role for an Events Director. The idea being that this person would help regions with some of their questions regarding events (insurance, forms, advice, etc...) and also help with national events (helping bucket list coordination, NVE's, etc..). A great one stop shop. I'm glad to say we have an enthusiastic contributor who's volunteered for the role and I wanted to introduce her!

Debbie Ruckert lives in central Arizona. She is retired and loves spending time with her grandkids, all 7 of them. She has been a Mopar nut since she was in her 20's. She has been a Viper Club member since 2009 and a member of the VOA since it started. Her Viper passion began when she traded her 64 Plymouth Fury convertible for her 1st Viper, a 2006 red convertible. Since the purchase of her Viper, she has become quite the track rat, participating in drag racing, road racing, and autocross. She has been very active in the IL and Arizona regions for the past 5 years, serving as AZ region Vice President, and now their current president. During her tenure, she's helped organize many of the Arizona region's events as well as road trips to national events. She has a passion for Viper gatherings and an energy for working behind the scenes to make great things happen for club members. When she not doing all that, she and her husband Dave are working on his 68 Road Runner drag racing.

Please welcome Debbie to her new role! I'm sure at the very least, the club will benefit from her intimate involvement with NVE. : )

I have one other director role that I'd like to fill - Regional Development Director. This is a role dedicated to help regions with any aspect of running their club - from bylaws, to election process, to dealing with internal issue. We're looking for someone experienced with club processes (a likely past/current regional or national officer). If you're interested, please PM or email me or any of our club officers.
