Your opinion on parting out a 94 rt10

I was just wondering if it would be financially feasible to part out a 94 rt10 instead of selling it outright. It only has 11,000 miles and is great shape. Never raced or wrecked. Just thought it might be a better situation since parts are hard to come by. Any thoughts?

I think it would be a damn shame.

If it was wrecked then yes, but since it's not you're not going to get much more by parting it out. You'll probably end up with a bunch of little parts that will just clutter up your garage.

While the hard to find parts can sell quick, what about the rest of the car? Would it be sitting in your garage/on your property while you take it apart? What's your time worth for disassembly and shipping?

    Sell it outright.

No!!! You would be left with most of the car that doesn't sell. Better off selling as a running car. Way better off.

OK, you all have given me some good advice. Never crossed my mind about having parts all over the garage for who knows how long. Thanks to all.

If you were to part out this car the only thing I could think of is it reaffirms the belief that you can't fix stuid

    Lol.....^^^^This!

    Yes, sell it outright!

I've had a GTS frame, dash, Tub, sitting in my backyard for 2yrs. Cabinets in my garage are full of worthless used parts I can't bear to toss.
+ new spare parts like dashes and airbags.....sheesh.

Wasn't expecting the car to look that nice. For sure, don't part it out.
