Welcome to the Houston area, hopefully you will join the club here, we have a great group of folks spanning all forms of Viper motoring. You should try to hit Texas World Speedway before it closes in December and you have Houston Motorsports Ranch fairly close to you. Beth and I are signed up to be at COTA that weekend as well so looking forward to seeing everyone there even though I will have to be the track side trophy in that I am still recovering from surgery.
Here are a few more to consider as well:

Time to go back home, what a story to tell. Badass memories to cherish. I've lived the dream, with my baby, road trippin state to state, enjoying different tracks and meeting awesome people. The Viper is just something else, thankful and grateful for being blessed, all my hard work paid off alhamdulilah.
Started at COTA, ended at Laguna Seca. After living in TX for 5 months, I wonder how Cali car guys enjoy their cars! The roads are horrible over there but the scenary is just amazing at the west cost. Most of their gas stations offer 91 octane while in TX we have 93 and some places 110! At Laguna Seca they have "db limit" and said my Viper didn't pass the sound test and I had to lift/upshift to 6th each lap between turn 5 and 6, probably around 5 seconds loss. Yeah like I was gonna stick with that for the full day lol. After early morning drama was contained I floored it in my last two sessions and got the meatball flag, the flag guy gave-up on me after I ignored him few times and then when my tank was empty I went out to the VP gas station and a guy chased me in a golf car, screamed his head off "your car is never gonna be allowed here again" and I wise like yeah I'm not coming back to this track, I could feel his poor green soul was hurt with my V10 Bellanger. He shut off the pumps as he didn't want me to refuel!
I registered my Viper two weeks early and they accepted my application, one day before the track day a guy calls and say the Viper won't make it and no refunds allowable! I came all the way along with my car, yeah like hell I won't make it. Rest is history.
I don't understand how such an international track has silly restrictions for us average Joes while they conduct crazy-loud races over there!
Groups such as Edge Addicts & Chin are superb over here in TX. Karen at EA throws the best track days, excellent people. Unlike other groups I encountered tottally not friendly. I'm glad I met nice people in different places and met some forum members in person! Thanks to Andy & Morgan for the great maintenance, Mark for the spot-on spare parts supply, Todd who made my life much easier in Cali, Beth and the Houston Viper club for the great experience at Houston Autorama followed by a cruise to San Jacinto monument -great photos-, Dan for my aero install, many many more who helped throughout with all the Viper community whereabouts and tips. Thanks to the MVP THE VIPER, go out and do enjoy your cars!

I'm still laughing from the phone call about Laguna and how they were literally trying to chase you off the track after throwing the meatball flag on you. One of the best track day stories I've heard in a long time. You sir fit in great down here in Texas![]()
Have a safe trip home Saud, been a pleasure helping you over the past couple years and glad I was able to meet with you at the COTA event.
Take care,
Awesome thread. Talk about enjoying life.....good for you sir.
Hi Soud,
How did Laguna Seca go? It was great meeting you and working on your car. I dont get to many Vipers with Kuwait license plates!
