Great idea to bring some fun and positivity to this side of the forum. I'll be sure to drive mine tomorrow, as I live in FL and it rains everyday...and I have my DSE heatshield plugged and would rather not take any chances.

Yeah I know I'm supposed to take pictures, I failed at that, but did log around 70 wonderful miles. I didn't take any pictures but I saw four different people snapping pictures and got a couple of thumbs up. I smile every time I drive this car.
Rain chances dropped to 15%, imagine my shock when I walked out at lunch and it was sunny! My buddy that parks in front of me has a Gen IV, but is out of office today.

I'd love to drive mine but its pending sale and waiting for its new owner to pick it up. Washed and waxed.
I started mine up in the Garage at 08:30 this morning...... Does that count? I could not take the car to work as I do Property Maintenance, and could not put all the tools from the truck and ladders on the roof of the Viper![]()

White Viper Friday!!
My Friday:
MD Emissions Inspection Day - AND I PASSED - (you never know what they might say with a 19 year old car).
BUT the bad thing is now my odometer says 701 miles (I will never take it out of the garage again.....)
Emissions_Inspec_Day_701_Total_miles.jpg
300 miles left in engine break-in time (could take a while)

Took a trip to the in-laws for the weekend, but woke up super early and took my time washing/polishing the Viper it would look great while we are here. Nothing like the self satisfaction of making your Viper shine yourself....

No pics, but took the Viper to lunch in town, the office and back through rush hour traffic, on/off the clutch in first for 45 min. Reminds me why my DD has auto !
Snapped a few pictures, while i was out at a local fire department fundraiser
Didn't intend to make fun. It's sad really that someone works their ass off their whole life to "retire", only to have to work a part time job to be retired. The term retirement is the joke in todays society. The general meaning as understood by most people, is to work your best years away, only to stop working with less of an income than you had in your working years. Now you have more free time to spend money, but less money to spend. It equals a decrease in quality of life.
I don't have a career to retire me young, and it certainly isn't anything to do with luck. I just decided to choose the result I wanted in life, and then reverse engineer the path to get there. Maybe it is kind of lucky in a sense? It is hard for people to succeed when they are forced into the school system which is designed to create sheep who will go work for another man and build someone elses fortune and secure that persons family future instead of their own. I was lucky enough to question why I was being told to pick a job where the result was pre-determined for me. I wasn't "lucky" enough to figure this stuff out sooner and go find connections to make things happen sooner though. So I'll be 10 years later than I should be. So luck is all a matter of perception.
The rules for success in anything are the same across the board pretty much. Choose the result you want. Find someone that has the result you want. Get them to show you how they got the result. Then get your ass to work and don't quit everytime you fail at something. Learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward. Doesn't matter if you want to lose weight, or retire early. The same principles apply.
Well, I just got back from Drive your Viper Saturday!. No pics, but it is a gorgeous (but getting hot) day here in Chester County, PA. A nice scenic 40 miles out and back. Not able to get on it too much, but it was fantastic. I have 11,314 miles on her now.
