Is the switch from GEN III to GEN IV worth it? Thoughts

I have an 03 vert that im trading in on an 08 SSG Coupe to you think the benefit is there in doing the trade in for the new one? I do like the hard top but this whole thing will cost me about 60K

What do you guys think if you traded your GEN III ARE YOU GLAD YOU DID?

If your into utilizing the Vipers assets (power suspension, brakes ), then I say go for the Gen 4. If your just into cruising around town and don't need the extra .4 seconds in the quarter mile, then I say stick to your Gen 3 and or as the above post mentioned, get an 06 coupe if coupe is your thing.

The extra dineros that you have to put out is not worth the extra amenities your going to get over the Gen 3. If it was a Gen 1 or 2 I would say you had a point. Those Gens are a ways from a Gen 4. The Gen 3 is a lot closer to the feel of the Gen 4 with the noticeable extras I mention earlier if your using them in the first place.

I also agree. Keep the Gen III and put the $ on something else. or performance upgrades on the Gen III.

I've owned gen 2s, 3s and 4s. I think that if the gen 4 is within $15k of the 3 that it would be worth it.
