Sounds like a VE heads cam and mopar controller to me. I'm sure that Over seas dealers say no warranty. Frankly if the motor has no contamination they will last as long as all gens have. I believe issues are related to machine work and will be fine if they make it past 3K miles. I know some have lost them past that but so many variable. I make a general statement as just that, general. I have a deeper insight to this than what I say but most are too hyper sensitive
